Please read this Susan
Aren’t you tired of reading and writing about any number of social issues, injustices, and downright atrocities all around the world and yet nothing changes? So many people for so long have tried to bring about change by commenting on the issues and hoping for some action, but rarely does anything significant ever happen as a result!
Our Nutopia Project is all about designing and building an alternative system to the broken and corrupt one we have today, and focusing all our efforts on the solution instead of the futile bickering with bigots and naysayers and trying to get the attention of the powerful few who want nothing more than to keep the status quo.
We have a vision (of course a naïve one to many who can’t or refuse to see the world other than through the lens of today) for a better life for all people, and we are attempting to mobilize the global population, many of whom are disaffected, poor, or persecuted people living a nightmare in the crazy and unfair world we live in today, and to channel their collective effort to bring about real and lasting change.
Please take a look around our web site to get a sense for what we are trying to do. We have only just started and we may all be dreamers or crackpots with pipedreams, but maybe, just maybe, this could be the start of something to truly change the system before it is too late for us, our children, and our planet.
Please contact us or email us if you would like to hear more about how you can help.
Thank you for your time!

Before & After

Innovation is one of those amazing characteristics that humans have developed over thousands of years. Our superior brains mean that we are capable of envisioning, designing, and creating solutions to virtually every problem we are faced with. Unfortunately in the capitalist world we live in today, the pursuit of money and wealth is the driving force behind innovation, and the constant creation of new but unnecessary products and services to keep the economic machine going.

In Nutopia there is no money and no wealth and everyone enjoys the same good quality of life. There are no financial benefits for using innovation skills to solve problems and advance society, instead people use their creative energy for the good of the community as a whole. When people are happy in their day-to-day lives and want for nothing they don't need to have incentives to do good.

In Nutopia only goods and services are provided when they are needed. The Guardian System allows people to suggest new things that they feel would benefit society, but there is no concept of conjuring up all sorts of new products to see if they are attractive to consumers, of which only a few make it and the rest fail.

The labor requirement for Nutopia to function is only fraction of what is available. While one of the benefits of this is that people can spend more time enjoying life with leisure pursuits, many people take great pleasure in science, technology, research, development, and and creation of new things to advance humanity. There are many problems we face today and in the future, such as possible asteroid collisions with Earth, how we survive the next ice age, and pandemics, and many things we want to achieve like easy access to space, and Nutopia encourages people to use their talents to do this. Citizens of Nutopia can choose to learn a combination of skills for both work that is needed and also research and development, both of which are considered to be valuable contributions to society.

Nutopia makes it easy for all people of all ages to use their creative minds to solve problems. The creation of new items or services to eliminate laborious, mundane, or unpleasant tasks done by people, is encouraged and promoted by providing people with easy access to laboratories, prototyping tools, CAD/CAM software, 3D Printers, and an array or other tools and educators to help people unleash their creative minds. This is the opposite of today where the education and facilities to design and create wonderful new goods and services is too costly and outside the reach of most people. Why on Earth would we want to put so many obstacles in the way of all that creativity that is available to us?
